Parikrma runs 4 free K-12 schools for 1500 children from the slums of Bangalore. The 360 degree model used by Parikrma ensures that children get a high quality education as well as nutrition and health care. In addition, Parikrma works with the families to raise general awareness, literacy and skills. Parikrma’s End to End intervention means that while students come into the schools at the age of 5 and graduate at 18, they are also supported beyond that – through their college years and until they get a job. Attendance levels at Parikrma are 90+, while drop-out levels are 2%.

The impact of Parikrma has been significant. 100% of our students passing the SSLC board exam, go onto Junior College. Similarly, 100% of our Junior College students passing the PUC exam, go onto college level courses. Today, among our 650 alumni , we have engineers, doctors, accountants, designers, hotel professionals etc, all working hard to boot-strap themselves out of the circle of deprivation that they are born into, thanks to the foundation provided them by Parikrma.

We work only in Bangalore city; our schools are located in Jayanagar, Koramangala, Nandhini Layout and Sahakara Nagar.
