Activities:
The organization firmly believes that in most cases, family is the best place for a child to live and grow. SATHI’s core interventions include rescue of children from railway stations, providing them short-term shelter-care and counseling and eventual reunification with family provided family conditions are conducive for the child’s care and growth. The ‘tears of joy’ that a mother sheds when she embraces her lost son or daughter keeps us going. Since its inception, SATHI has worked in nearly 45 locations in 12 states across India. In 2016, SATHI was selected as a partner of Railway Childline. Today, we are running 2 Open Shelters and 2 Railway Childline. 1 Residential Care Centre “Baalika Brundavana” to support 30 girl children and “We Care for You” Program to support orphan and semi orphan children due to, COVID-19 and any other reasons at 6 talukas of Chikkaballapur district and 4 talukas of Bangalore Rural district.

The organization received the National Award for Child Welfare from the Honorable President of India in November 2015.
