Adi Rao is a singer-songwriter based in Mumbai. Raised to be perceptive of oneself, his writing has always reflected his identity, mapping out the joys and anxieties of growing older. The sound his band creates is simple on the face of it with subtle arrangements in the background, in the style of Americana, Folk, and Pop, much like the work of John Mayer, Paul Simon, and Phum Viphurit – their influences. Adi Rao has performed widely in Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Bangalore.
