Wild Karnataka takes you on a stunningly beautiful wildlife journey into the heart of the land of tigers and elephants, only to discover that these lush and bio-diverse forests are home to an amazing number of species of animals, birds, insects, amphibians, reptiles and fish. You will follow their stories, traversing across from the evergreen Western Ghats, to deciduous forests of the plains to thorn scrub forests and rocky outcrops of Ramnagar and Daroji, extending to the riverine and marine ecosystems, all found in our state of Karnataka.

The first Indian wildlife film to be narrated by Sir David Attenborough, Wild Karnataka is a collaboration between Karnataka’s top naturalists.

Naturalist and Wildlife Photographer

An eye for capturing stories of the natural world and his deep roots in technology make Amoghavarsha’s a unique voice in telling stories. His experience working with National Geographic and BBC has taken him across the globe and won him international awards. His work on climate change has been showcased in the United Nations Climate Change Conference by Indian Prime Ministers and the French President and also at the UN general assembly. He has been invited by various international forums to present his work on the use of media and technology in conservation including UCLA and the Australian government.
