Two actors are waiting at the Prithvi Theatre café for a chance to watch their favourite actor, Naseeruddin Shah, perform. But there is a catch: only one of them has a ticket, and both of them are already dead. Their desperate longing for that one elusive ticket becomes a meditation on ambition, jealousy, friendship, artistic obsession, and the strange ways in which performers measure their lives.
Written by Sapan Saran and directed by Srinivas Beesetty, Waiting for Naseer is a celebration of theatre, passion and the artist within all of us. Filled with humour, tenderness and absurdity, the play reminds us that perhaps the struggle itself is enough to fill a person’s heart.

Naman is an actor known for his versatility in the Delhi theatre circuit and is practicing theatre professionally for the last twelve years.

Chaitali is a theatre practitioner who is mainly interested in writing and direction. She was awarded an MA in English and Cultural Studies from Christ University, Bangalore.
