A Stand-up Comedy Evening

Untouchable, is Manjeet Sarkar’s current show, which takes the audience on the journey of his upbringing, shares absurd experiences, and triggers a series of observations about Indian village life and metropolitan life. It is not only his first national tour, but the first national tour done by a Dalit Comedian. It is the launch of Maraa’s first open mic and stand up comedy gig. The set will be followed by a Q&A with the comedian moderated by Nihal Passanha.

Manjeet Sarkar is a stand-up comedian who has been performing for 6 years. He is currently writing a book on the 1971 Bangladesh liberation war. With a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, a Master’s in Business, and an affinity for absurdity, Manjeet’s art is known for taking new turns every day. He has been featured by national and international news outlets, including Brut, The Guardian, Christian Science Monitor, The Print, and more.
