Sanjeev Jha and Manish Kumar will present self-composed, raga based bandishes of the famous saints Vidyapati, Tulsidas & Surdas along with some self-written and composed bandishes. The singers would take the listeners through the meditative aspect of this ancient form of music. While Dhrupad is seeing a revival, its meditative and reflective aspect still remains largely unrevealed. The Dhrupad Bandhu through their efforts are trying to bring this very aspect to light.

The compositions are laden with ancient wisdom, both through the lyrics as well as that of its sounds. Over the years the duo have developed a unique style of presentation which is enjoyed by both the old and the new generation. It is their constant endeavour to take this art form to grassroot levels. They believe that this art form is meant not just for entertainment but also has spiritual and therapeutic benefits. The evening holds the promise of revelations and divine bliss.
