BIC is happy to present monthly reading sessions for kids in our Library!

Our first edition, in collaboration with Funky Rainbow, celebrates Bondas, Barfis and Books!

It’s the start of the festive season in India, and the one thing that is common to all celebrations is food! Join Team Funky Rainbow as they do dramatised readings from delectable children’s books featuring foods of all flavours.

Listen to yummy stories, read some of your own from our book buffet, and enjoy some lip-smacking activities!

Greystroke is a writer, illustrator, cartoonist, art director, publisher and storyteller. He has created content and art for several children’s books and magazines for over 25 years now. He is the co-founder of Funky Rainbow, one of India’s leading independent children’s bookshops. When he isn’t doing all this, he takes photographs and makes films.

Vidya Mani

Children's Writer & Editor
Vidya Mani is a children’s writer and editor, who wears many hats. She runs a content and design studio called Melting Pot that creates children’s books and magazines for publishers and NGOs. She is the co-founder and chief curator at Funky Rainbow, a Bangalore-based independent bookshop and book consultancy that is committed to bringing books and children together in exciting ways.
