A poet’s longing, a saint’s surrender, and a seeker’s bliss.

Blending the lyrical storytelling of Harikatha with the expressive grace of Bharatanatyam, this performance is a humble offering to Lord Muruga. The Tamil deity has stirred poets, saints, and seekers for centuries. At its heart, Skandaanubhavam is rooted in ‘Atma Anubhava’, the intimate, transformative experiences that lie behind the poetry. These are not just tales from the past, but living moments of devotion that continue to resonate.

This evocative production invites audiences on a journey through his many stories. Harikatha offers historical, philosophical, and devotional context through flowing rhythm and spoken word. Bharatanatyam, with its sculptural beauty and intricate abhinaya, draws us into the inner terrain of yearning, valor, and spiritual revelation.

This is an evening of meditation in motion, and a quiet call to the divine within.
