Dive into a world of succinct beauty with haiku poet Prashant Sankaran, where every word paints a picture and every pause resonates with nature’s whisper. Uncover the art of capturing moments in just seventeen syllables.
Join us at BIC Library for an evening of engaging with Haikus. Haiku is a form of poetry that originated in Japan and then gained popularity across the globe. It is constructed with just three lines and traditionally with a unique syllable structure.

Prashant Sankaran
Prashant Sankaran stepped off his corporate career to follow his passion for Entrepreneurship and Arts. He is actively engaged as the Executive Director of Interweave Consulting, an organisation focussed on Diversity and Inclusion. He is also part of the founding team of the Bangalore Poetry Festival (www.bengalurupoetryfestival.org), one of the larger literary events in India. His short fiction has appeared in publications in India and abroad and exhibitions of his photography have been conducted at Indian Institute of Human Settlements, Bangalore International Centre etc.
