Servants of Knowledge
Public Resource and Increased Access
Speakers
For 5 years, we’ve been digitising knowledge in India, starting with the Indian Academy of Sciences. Our collection of open access Kannada books continues to grow every-larger, and our collections include over 100 languages. Now we’re scanning the entire National Law School Library at the rate of 12 lakhs pages per month.
Come learn how we do our book scanning, where we see this effort going, how it fits into Indian copyright law, and how you can help. The Servants of Knowledge believe access to knowledge is a human right and that scanning is the new spinning. Jai Gyan!
