- This event is over.
Yes, times are uncertain, we miss going out, meeting our friends, being at school. And wearing a mask is NO FUN! But let’s take a short break from all that, and focus on some of the good things we already have going on! Keeping a gratitude journal is a wonderful way to remind ourselves on what we are incredibly lucky to have. So grab some paper, colours and a pencil and let’s sit down and doodle and say Thank You for the things we already have!
Materials: Paper, pencils/pens and some crayons/colour pencils/sketch pens or any preferred colouring material.
Shubhashree is the illustrator behind The Hungry Palette. She writes, draws and paints. Food is a big love of hers. She loves to draw, cook, eat and dream about food. Sometimes all at the same time.
While trying to educate herself on living a low-waste life, she worked on a personal project, which turned into a couple of illustrated books, called the ‘Let’s Talk Trash Project’.
She continues to make illustrations on sustainability, while working on other projects, and you can usually find them on her Instagram page.
She also holds workshops on sustainability and visual journaling. She’s currently exploring using art as an instrument in mindfulness and keeping a sketchbook habit is a big part of it as well.
