Samay Raag
A Sunset Concert Experience
Performers
Sushma’s project, the Samay Raag Series is an earnest attempt to experience the impact of Samay (Time) while rendering a raga outdoors amongst the elements.
The connection of time with the raga or raginis is based on daily cycle of changes that occur in our own body and mind, arouse and stimulate different moods and emotions.
The venue for this performance is an extension of the Samay Raag project, BIC’s Amphitheatre. This programme will showcase evening and sunset ragas, transitioning into the night. The evening will also experience emotions through the semi-classical lens namely Thumri and Devotional.
