Ranjit Hoskote and Prem Chandavarkar on the impact of new mass media on public engagement with culture.

This session will be telecast live on the BIC YouTube page.

Ranjit Hoskote traces a brief history via radio, TV, the internet, and Cedric Price’s crazily wonderful idea of an education train and the Open University to examine the the impact mass media has had on the dissemination and development of, and public engagement with, culture. His presentation will be followed by a discussion with Prem Chandavarkar.

In collaboration with the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2021
