Birds, plants, trees and insects: discover the natural world, hiding in plain sight.

Bengaluru, like many cities, is actually home to a remarkable diversity of organisms that quietly coexist alongside us: the assassin bug to the banyan trees; the slender loris to the rosy starling. This session begins with a panel discussion featuring speakers from different walks of life, who have each developed a deep engagement with nature in their neighbourhoods. They share personal journeys, practical approaches and memorable experiences from their observations of urban biodiversity. A short, guided nature walk in and around BIC will follow, giving you a chance to experience firsthand where and how urban wildlife exists.

The simple act of noticing can inspire awe, joy and connection.

Children, bring your adults. Everyone is welcome.

This event is a part of the Environment Day programming at BIC.
