Not Another Art Class!
Inviting children, ages 8 to 10, to discover an artist and share their own creative response.

What do you see when you look at this artwork? What sounds would you hear if the painting could speak? Through questions such as these, the session will seek to create a personal connection for the child as they discover an artist and their artworks.
This interactive session will introduce students to the life and works of Wassily Kandinsky and encourage children to create their own artwork in response.
The idea is not to ‘teach’ but use this as an entry point for them to get acquainted with art.

Ruchira Das
Ruchira Das is the Founder of ThinkArts that brings imaginative experiences for children and young people through an engagement with the arts. She has designed interactive trails for museums and led several workshops for children. She also curates the annual Junior Kolkata Literary Meet.
