The book ‘Footprints of Visvakarma’ is a collection of nine essays written by Prof. Madhusudan Amilal Dhaky, Padma Bhushan, both a celebrated art historian and polymath. These nine essays, rich in research, represent an insight into aspects of Indian temple architecture. Before his demise in 2016, Prof. Dhaky bequeathed this unfinished project to Architect Snehal Shah, an alumni of CEPT University.

Snehal Shah

Snehal Shah studied architecture at CEPT University and then architectural history and theory at the Architectural Association Graduate School in London. He worked with architect Mario Botta in Lugano, Switzerland for two years, after which he returned to India to start his practice in Ahmedabad. He is interested in research and studying historic Indian architecture and established the Akshara Foundation to support the development of work in this area.
