This week’s edition of Stories on a Sunday invites you to embark on a captivating exploration of AK Ramanujan’s enchanting realm of Indian folktales, led by Vaishnavi Ramanujam.

This event is a part of BIC’s Programmes at the Library.

BIC Library Programmes are designed to mould the library into a community-centered reading space. Our primary goal is to curate sessions that cater to the diverse interests and ages within our library community. Through this programming we wish for the library to become a dynamic space that goes beyond traditional book-related activities.

Vaishnavi Ramanujam

Actor & Singer

Vaishnavi Ramanujam is an actor-singer, based out of Bangalore who made her stage debut in the year 2017 with The Tragedy of Macbeth directed by Ranji David. She is best known for her Shiva, directed by Daya Sakrepatna in 2018 and funded by the India Foundation of Arts, Dawa – a short film which was officially selected and screened at the 13th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2023. She has worked as a Program Associate at Ranga Shankara and also handled production for Kinaaya Collective, Silk Route, Katputliyaan Theatre and Bengaluru Theatre Foundation.
