11am – 12:30pm | Poetry Reading | A Well is Born (For Ages 8-11)
with Radhika Chadha

An engineer knows how to drill the best well. But does he know where to find water?

In this dramatized poetry reading, author Radhika Chadha brings to life a world where water is precious, ancient knowledge runs deep, and every drop of both deserves protection.

A creative, moving plea for the things that sustain us.

2pm – 3pm | Treasure Hunt | Catch the Drip Bandits! (For Ages 5-14)

A playful treasure hunt where young explorers hunt down mischievous water-wasting creatures and send them straight to monster jail.

3pm – 4pm | Film Screening | WATERSCHOOL (For Ages 6-14)
by Swarovski Foundation

Water sustains everything. Who sustains the water?

WATERSCHOOL follows students living along the Amazon, Mississippi, Danube, Nile, Ganges, and Yangtze as they learn what it takes to protect the water that sustains their communities. Supported by local partners including WWF India, the Swarovski Waterschool programme has been connecting children, families, and communities around water since 2000.

A documentary about the next generation, made for the next generation.

Around the World in 50 Sundays is a journey that begins, not with a ticket, but with opening a book. In a city like Bangalore where families are always in motion, the BIC Library hopes to offer stillness and a quiet, welcoming space for both parents and children where reading becomes a shared way of being and not a task.

Every Sunday, we open our doors to invite you into a library that listens; building a rhythm of return, a habit of joy and a new community bound not just by books, but by the weekly ritual of reading together.

We welcome your ideas and input. If you have suggestions for children’s events or activities that align with this vision, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to us at library@bangaloreinternationalcentre.org
