This week’s Listening Room Session will be an evening of fusion, percussion and discussion.

The application of percussion has had a profound impact across cultural contexts, taking on different forms and yielding varied effects. It is an ever-evolving form of expression and a mode of communication that transcends time, place and linguistic barriers. We invite you to join us as we delve into how drumming has adapted and transformed, unraveling patterns that have echoed through the ages. Following a short talk, the session will be opened up to listeners who can then engage and participate in creating a unique playlist.

Tune in for an evening of foot-tapping rhythms, cultural insights, and a celebration of the ever-evolving language of percussion.

BIC’s Listening Room Sessions are an opportunity to come together, listen to and discover new music, refine old tastes and share influences, stories and memories.
