VRDS presently activities on:
– Working with un organized Laboures providing the Employment opportunities under NREGA from Gram panchayat 100 days and additional labour work in agriculture sector through labour bank
– Preventing migration of Laboures out of their native district Haveri
– Women empowerment and livelihood activities through Self Help Group promoted 600 SHG’s and credit linkage from various MFI and Banks
– Promoting Farmers Producer Organization FPO on Millets processing marketing and live stock based livelihood through business model
– Capacity building and training of Empowering elected women representatives in Gram panchayat level.
– Empowering Girl child education and stop school dropout belongs to Slum and remote villages providing tuition and scholarship from CRS support
– Integrated Watershed development activities in agriculture farming land
– Rejuvenating and desilting village tanks through labour work
– Tree planting in agriculture land( Forest and Horticulture seedling)
– Awareness on Covid-19 Vaccination and distributing Grocery kit, Fertilizer tool kit to the poor families
– Covid-19 affected families conducted education and livelihood program in Govt. school

– Stopped migration of un skilled farm Labourers by providing local employment opportunities through MNREGA & Labour Bank
– Through Self Help Groups creating livelihood for members and enhancing the family income
– Soil & Water Conservation Improving the ground water table of agriculture lands through Water Shed programs.
– Improving Girl Child education & reducing the School dop outs in Government Schools
– Avoiding middle men & providing services to farmers through Farmer Producer Organization (FPO’s)
