Organisation purpose / activities

KEF is an NGO based in Bengaluru that works to ensure quality in Early Childhood Education for children from low-income communities.

We partner with govt. and low cost private Schools and delivers the “School Readiness Program”. This program takes a three-pronged approach to ensure collective action of all the stakeholders involved i.e., the child, the teacher, and the parent.

In the program:
– We equip the school with developmentally appropriate curriculum and teaching-learning materials.
– We build the capacity of the teachers through targeted training and one-on-one coaching
– We work on the demand side by empowering parents to partner in the education of their child.
