Head Held High Foundation
Organisation purpose / activities
At Head Held High Foundation, our vision is to eradicate rural poverty globally, beginning in India.
Our programs are aimed at reducing the economic and social barriers faced by youth, women and poor rural communities. Through training, skilling, empowerment, and other interventions, we enable access to opportunities and growth for those with the highest vulnerabilities.
Impact assessment
More than 80% of our interventions are conducted in rural locations. A fourth of these are in aspirational districts, where they contribute to progress on key socio-economic indicators. Two thirds of the youth in our Make India Capable classrooms are women. Since we started our work (informally since 2007 and following our incorporation as a Trust in 2011) we have impacted more than 200,000 youth and been active in more than 19 states covering 65+ districts.
Extent of focus in Bengaluru
We have one centre in rural Bangalore but have a strong presence in North Karnataka as well as other parts of the country.
