Organisation purpose / activities

Children of India Foundation (CIF) is a non profit organisation which empowers vulnerable children and families. As an affiliate of Terre des Hommes Netherlands in India, CIF addresses issues of child labour, child marriage and child sexual exploitation. CIF’s key approach to change is child participation and advocacy, where children are trained as agents of change.

Impact assessment

In 2021, 8150 children accessed education, 1662 children received health care, 7568 families increased their income, 307 children were rescued from harmful exploitation, 2999 families were linked to social security, 824 children were trained as change agents.

Rural and semi urban areas of Karnataka are one of our operational areas.
