CDT | Cheshire Disability Trust
Organisation purpose / activities
Established in 2011, Cheshire Disability Trust (CDT) is a significant enabler of persons with disability in India. As a member of the Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) Global Alliance, we are a part of a global movement to bring equality to the persons with disability.
Mission: To enable Persons with Disabilities and improve their quality of life through training & meaningful employment. Also, to campaign and remove the social & economic barriers that hinder them.
The Livelihood Resource Centre, was established in 2011. The program aims to ensure that persons with disabilities (PwDs) in Karnataka, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Coimbatore, and a few other locations have access to all the same opportunities and rights as the non-disabled.
