ACT educates and empowers children living below the poverty line from the Urban slums around Ulsoor, Bangalore and supports them till they are gainfully employed. ACT supports 350 children from 2500 families thus raising the quality of life of more than 1000 people. The education that every child at ACT gets is an all-round development program ensuring their physical, mental and emotional wellness. Education, Food, Health, Life Skills, Recreation, Mentoring, Sports and Community are ACT’s program interventions. ACT has been providing monthly provision kits and hygiene kits for all families since March 2020. ACT has a large volunteer base and alumni which works towards the goals of ACT as well.

304 children were impacted through our online education program. In addition to covering the cost of School fees in 2021 – 2022, ACT provided its students with digital devices(tablets), including the prepaid internet packs. Also, other essentials like stationary, sweaters, sweatshirts, books, etc were provided to the children.

141 families were supported with monthly provision kits and hygiene kits (1370). The children were also given the much-required protein mix.

Volunteers supported with more than 120 hours per week of teaching. 242 active volunteers have contributed to a total of 16769 hours of support to the organisation.
