Paratattva: The Supreme Essence

R. Raghuram is a Carnatic vocalist, recording artist, composer, and teacher, born into a distinguished musical family. His father, Late Vid. R. A. Rajagopalan, was a renowned mridangam and ghatam artiste, while his mother, Smt. Rama, nurtured a deep love for Carnatic music at home. He later trained under Ganakalabhooshana R. A. Ramamani and T. A. S. Mani, and also trained extensively in Sugama Sangeetha under Vid. Pusthakam Rama. He has performed at prestigious sabhas including Bangalore Gayana Samaja, R. K. Srikantan Trust, and TTD’s Nada Neerajanam. A recipient of the Pratibhakankshi Award from Rama Seva Mandali, he is a regular performer on All India Radio and Doordarshan. His collaborations include the Indo-French fusion album Rhythm n Raga and compositions for several dance productions and ballets.

Gayatri Rajaji is a Bharatanatyam dancer and nattuvanar trained under the legendary Adyar K. Lakshman, and later under Leela Samson, Bragha Bessell, and Nithyakalyani Vaidyanathan. Her accolades include the Best Dancer Award from Indian Fine Arts Society, the Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai Endowment Award from Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, and the National Nrithyasree Award from Utkal Yuva Sanskrutik Sangh, to name a few. She is a Ministry of Culture Senior Scholarship recipient and a B-Grade Doordarshan artist. Alongside her performance career, she has cultivated a rich practice in nattuvangam, accompanying distinguished artists including Uma Satyanarayanan, Arupa Lahiry, Jaikishore Mosalikanti, Padmavani Mosalikanti, and Lavanya Sankar in performances across India, Malaysia, and the United States.

Harsha Samaga was drawn to music from a young age, born into a family of performing artists. He pursued rigorous training in mridangam from Late P. Vasudeva Rao, Late Shri K. Harishchandran and Sri Anoor Anantha Krishna Sharma. A graded artist of All India Radio, he is recognised for his rhythmic clarity and sensitivity, and has accompanied renowned Bharatanatyam dancers and classical musicians across India and abroad. Alongside his artistic career, Harsha is a Chartered Accountant and currently works in the corporate sector in Bangalore, balancing professional excellence with sustained dedication to the classical arts.
