When voices rise in praise of Vitthal, boundaries fade.

This concert celebrates the confluence of traditions, tracing how music holds memory, weaves community, and opens doorways to the divine. As part of Very Vari, it extends the pilgrim’s path into sound, where the sacred is not only seen in image but felt in rhythm and voice.

Maharashtra’s Varkari and Karnataka’s Haridasa traditions become one river of song. Each verse carries centuries of longing, remembrance, and surrender, echoing with the footsteps of pilgrims and the heartbeat of devotion.

Deepti Navaratna and Madhusudhan Bhat, joined by Ashwin MP on tabla, bring these traditions alive in an evening that is at once meditative and deeply moving.
