Before bluelight and bluetooth, there was the radio.
A glowing dial, a familiar voice, and a world unfolding through sound alone. This unique film takes us back to a near-forgotten era, tracing the deeply personal stories of those whose lives were shaped by the radio’s quiet power.
From a passionate restorer’s vintage museum in Bengaluru to the broadcast of the Apollo 11 moon landing, this film is a heartfelt ode to radio’s enduring legacy. We meet cricket fans, music lovers, librarians, students and announcers, all connected by a common frequency of memory, curiosity, and wonder.
Screened at over 80 film festivals in 36 countries and recognized by UNESCO for World Radio Day, My Radio My Life celebrates the progress of technology through deeply human connections. The film has also been on discussion programs featured on AIR Pune, AIR Rajkot and Vividh Bharati.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.
This event is a quiet invitation to tune in, once again.
