Kiran Bhat
Sri Kiran’s Bhat’s musical journey began at a very early age under the guidance of his father and Guru, late Pt. Kamalakar Bhat Kerekai, an esteemed singer from the Agra Gharana. Inspired by his father’s singing and mastery of various instruments, Sri Kiran Bhat also learned harmonium and table alongside his vocal training. During his musical education at home, Sri Kiran Bhat sought additional guidance from other renowned musicians. He received tabla guidance from Pt. Gajanan Hegde Giligundi and vocal guidance from Pt. Narayan Pandit, a renowned violin player
Madhusoodhan Bhat
Madhusoodan Bhat is an accomplished harmonium artist whose musical journey began in Sirsi, Karnataka, under the guidance of Pt. M.P. Hegde Padigere, where he trained in both vocal music and harmonium. Showing early musical promise and depth, he went on to specialize in harmonium solo performance under the mentorship of Pt. Dr. Ravindra Katoti, one of the few A-grade harmonium soloists in the Hindustani classical tradition. Under his guru’s expert tutelage, Madhusoodan has honed his craft with both precision and heartfelt dedication.
A B High graded artist of Akashvani, Madhusoodan is widely respected for his expressive playing, whether as an accompanist or a soloist. He has performed alongside some of the most esteemed names in Indian classical music, including Pt. M. Venkatesh Kumar, Pt. Ganapathi Bhat Hasanagi, Pt. Vinayak Torvi, Pt. Parameshwar Hegde, Pt. Ramesh Narayan, Vidushi P.U. Sarkel (Rajkot), Vidushi Vidya Rao (Delhi), Vidushi Adithi Upadhyay, Vidushi Lalit J. Rao, and as a lehra artist with Pt. Ravindra Yavagal and Shri Yashavanth Vaishnav.
Renowned for his sensitivity, tonal clarity, and rhythmic command, Madhusoodan continues to evolve as both a solo performer and collaborative artist, contributing richly to the world of Hindustani classical music.
Arun Kumar Bhat
Shri Arun Kumar Bhat, elder brother of acclaimed Agra Gharana vocalist Sri Kiran Bhat, is a skilled tabla artist deeply immersed in the Hindustani classical tradition. His musical journey began under the early guidance of his father, the late Pt. Kamalakar Bhat—a respected Agra Gharana vocalist—and was further shaped through over six years of intensive training with the distinguished tabla maestro Pt. Mohan Hegde.
With more than a decade of dedicated practice, Shri Arun Bhat has developed a style marked by subtle rhythmic mastery and refined accompaniment. His intuitive understanding of melodic phrasing and his responsive support have made him a valued collaborator for both vocalists and instrumentalists within the Indian classical music community.
In addition to his musical accomplishments, he serves as an Assistant General Manager in the textile industry—demonstrating a rare harmony between professional life and artistic passion. With sensitivity, discipline, and devotion, Shri Arun Kumar Bhat continues to uphold and enrich the tradition of Hindustani percussion, earning admiration from audiences and peers alike.
