Aurélien Jeanney is a French art director and multidisciplinary artist at Maison Tangible. His practice crosses several fields and mediums, from graphic design to illustration, moving images or augmented reality.

In his talk, Aurélien will be presenting his creative path, from art direction to illustration, motion design and augmented reality, how he has been able to invent new forms of storytelling thanks to this technology, and how he manages to blend physical and digital media into a single project. He will illustrate the talk with some of his artistic creations and designs.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience facilitated by Jean-Marc Dépierre, Director of the Alliance Française Bangalore.

Aurélien Jeanney is an art director and multidisciplinary artist at Maison Tangible. His practice crosses several fields and mediums, from graphic design to illustration, moving images or augmented reality. Maison Tangible, which he founded in Paris in 2015, is both a creative workshop focused on illustration, but also a publishing house and a laboratory for augmented reality experiments.

His work has won international awards, including prizes in Canada (Grafika, Numix) and France (Cannes Lions). Winner of a creative grant from the French Ministry of Culture for his project ‘Les Voyages typographiques de Jules Verne’, then a grant from the Centre National du Livre for his project ‘L’Invisible’, his work is now exhibited internationally, notably in Canada, Brazil, India and Latvia.

His clients include FIFA, Apple, ESA, French ministry of Culture, City of Paris, City of Montréal and SNCF.
