The Silent Hour
An Experiential Journey from Chaos to Calm

The constant cacophony of the modern world has made silence a prized yet feared experience. We seek getaways to constantly tune out and escape from the chaos. But, the calm we seek is within.
The Silent Hour is a guided experience of movement, breathwork and micro-meditation to help participants become familiar with silence.
Please Note:
- This experience is recommended for anyone over the age of 16. No prior practice of Yoga is necessary.
- We request you to carry a personal mat and a shawl/sheet to cover yourself as the body temperature tends to drop during the practice.
- Any attire that you will be comfortable to sit on the floor in, is welcome (active/fitness wear is not necessary).

Lakshmi Dasaka
Lakshmi is an experienced entrepreneur and an advocate of the importance of physical mindful spaces to bring a balance to the digital world. SAMA: The Calm Mind Studio is her endeavour to translate this vision to reality. With a team of equally passionate professionals, she is on a journey to make preventive mental wellness accessible and available.
She is a Certified Yoga and Sound Healing Professional, an Army brat and a graduate of Cornell University. Prior to SAMA, Lakshmi was working in the People and Change Management sector. She is the proud mom of a budding author and podcaster, Samarth and loves being the producer of his weekly podcast.
Mohanraj A
Mohanraj A is a Senior Instructor and Breathwork Lead at SAMA. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience in various forms of Yoga including at the famous Sivananda Centre in New Delhi. He is an avid reader and seeker and his teachings are characterised by a blend of tradition backed and evidence based practices.
