Mission: Concerns works with urban poor and provides opportunities for education through vocational training to enhance employability, improve economic status and promote the adoption of a healthy lifestyle

Concerns work towards educating and developing self-sufficient communities through empowerment and transformation of individuals. Concerns use a combination of an asset-based and needs-based approach to delivering programs with the community members themselves as agents of change towards sustainable development.

Impact assessment

  • Through Child development centers, Concerns deliver activities that support children’s learning skills, health, well-being, social and emotional development, thus so far prepared 2424 children below 5 years for formal schools. Parental education is provided to ensure holistic development.
  • Concerns Community College has so far provided vocational training for an average of 800 unskilled, unemployed youth & women who discontinued their education due to poverty or early marriage. Among them 66% are employed.
  • Through CHD, annually an average of 3000 community members is provided awareness to prevent diseases, promote optimum health and supported to avail government schemes/ benefits for the underprivileged.
