Organisation purpose / activities

Our vision is to preserve and evolve Indian craft and artisanal skills so they continue to remain an integral part of our cultural fabric.

Our mission is to provide sustainable craft-based livelihoods to traditional craftspersons and marginalized communities, particularly those with no access to income earning opportunities.

Impact assessment

  • 2,500 Beneficiaries from marginalised communities have been provided skill training
  • 20 livelihood centers supported across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata
  • 300 traditional artisans have been supported from clusters such as Anantapur (AP), Banaras (UP), Channapatna (Karnataka), Cheriyal (Telangana)
  • 250 unique craft designs and products developed
  • 35,000 kgs of discard materials such as Temple flowers, newspapers, fabric leftover and silk threads have been recycled / upcycled
  • 31 different craft skills are supported by us
  • 40 NGOs partnered to implement our craft based livelihood programs
