Butterfly Gardening
Creating Habitats For Lepidopterans
Speakers
Pollinator gardens are the easiest way to understand both insect and plant diversity and it is always fun and fulfilling to welcome these beautiful winged visitors and see them through all their stages of life.
This session- on the occasion of Big Butterfly Month- will introduce us to the basics of butterfly ecology in our cities and help us explore the prospect of creating micro habitats for butterflies and pollinators, anywhere- be it a balcony, a large garden or on the roadside.
Ecologist Prerna Agarwal will take us through practical tips on planting butterfly-friendly species and caring for them to create healthy homes which attract and persuade butterflies to stay and thrive.
