This workshop aims to bring forth curated textile stories of handloom designs and Indian textile inheritance. A sense of responsibility towards handloom is brought about in the participants by seeing textiles such as sarees and imagining the stories that the piece of cloth is telling you.

This activity will be contextualised based on where the children’s parents come from and the stories they carry with them through the textiles they have inherited. This will also help children to form a connection with their grand parents.

This workshop will require participants to carry with them:

  • Pencil
  • Pen
  • Sketch pens
  • A4 Paper

*Please note participants may be required to purchase certain materials for the workshop at the venue.

In Collaboration with Vimor Handloom Foundation.
