Folks and Tales is a film about the single screen theatres of Bengaluru, dating 40 to 50 years ago. It attempts to preserve and archive the stories of people who have been visiting these theatres over the years. Inspecting the theatres through different perspectives, be it the space itself narrating its story or theatre-goers narrating their experiences, the aim is to spark conversations and introspection about such spaces.
