Flooding is a major issue in most Indian metropolitan cities. Bengaluru is no exception.
The booming tech industry resulted in massive development for the city. Thus, its swift expansion to accommodate massive IT parks and homes was inevitable. Building after building, office after office sprung up. But no one stopped to think – are these lands, which were once villages, even suitable for rapid urbanization?
This documentary style film aims to provide an in-depth look into what led to the recent flooding debacle in Bengaluru. The locations in the film are those of the Bellandur area which suffered the maximum damage. Apart from that, the film also includes interviews, either in-person or over video call, with experts who have dabbled with this civic issue for quite some time.
