Organisation purpose / activities

Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) is headed by our Chairman Dr A Ravindra, Retd IAS, Ex-Chief Secretary Govt. of Karnataka.

Our primary focus is to design & develop methods and practices that enable the integration of Sustainable development prioritizing Social, Economic & Environmental impact.

Green Skills Academy (GSA) in affiliation with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) and Skill Council for Green Jobs under the Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India.
The Academy offers around 14 courses ranging from Solar PV training to Smart Cities, Wastewater treatment, Solid Waste Management, Green construction and Green Entrepreneurship. The approach includes Fresh Skilling, Re-skilling and Up-Skilling programs. GSA has some of the best training faculty.

Impact assessment

We impacted some livelihoods trainings on Wastewater, Waste management. We have placed many candidates and trained over 5000 under National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). We have impacted through NSDC trainings, new people we have trained in all the green sectors courses. We have developing capacity building programs. Under Research Environment Report card is based on citizens’ perceptions of the quality of the environment prevailing in the city and have impacted the policies.
