DESCRIPTION:\nKundalini is sacred and secret knowledge from our land. One of the most travelled concepts from Indian tradition\, and one of the most misrepresented. Reduced to sexual energy rather than recognised as spiritual force\, it is far from the Shatchakra Nirupana that first mapped its movement through the body.  \nYamini is thirty years into her sadhana in Bharatanatyam\, Kalaripayattu\, and Yoga. In this performance she shares a glimpse of her divine experiences. Bringing back the understanding from the ancient texts that recognised the energy in the form of deities; whose movement is a dance of masculine and feminine energies\, creating life in all beings.  \nThe choreography gives visual form to the movement of this sacred energy through the body’s chakras\, drawing from Bharatanatyam\, Kalaripayattu\, Vinyasa Yoga\, and aerial acrobatics.
