SUMMARY:Catch up with Kuchipudi
DESCRIPTION:One morning\, many moves! \nThis hands-on workshop introduces children to Kuchipudi through the basics of movement and the Natya Shastra\, the ancient book of dance on which the form is built. Beginning with a short film about the Kuchipudi village\, the session then opens into an exploration of the village and its dance. Learning together with friends\, children are invited on a fun and informative adventure into the heritage of Kuchipudi. \nPlease Note: \n\nSeats are limited.\nChildren should wear comfortable clothes they do not mind getting dirty.\n\nAround the World in 50 Sundays is a journey that begins\, not with a ticket\, but with opening a book. In a city like Bangalore where families are always in motion\, the BIC Library hopes to offer stillness and a quiet\, welcoming space for both parents and children where reading becomes a shared experience. Every Sunday\, we open our doors to invite you into a library that listens; building a rhythm of return\, a habit of joy and a new community bound not just by books\, but by the weekly ritual of reading together. \nWe welcome your ideas and input. If you have suggestions for children’s events or activities that align with this vision\, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to us at library@bangaloreinternationalcentre.org \nSupported by:\n \n\n\nA Peek into the Land and the Dance\nFor Ages 6-14\nRSVPs will open on Mon\, Oct 19 at 6pm.\n*Facilitator*: Sree Veena Mani\n*Event Categories*: Around the World in 50 Sundays\, Culture\, Dance
