SUMMARY:BUILD
DESCRIPTION: \nSticks\, clay\, sound\, and rhythm come together in this non-verbal theatre performance. \nBUILD is about the joy of discovery and the freedom of imaginative play. Through hands-on engagement in a safe\, welcoming space\, the performance offers children and parents a chance to reconnect with nature and rediscover the play of a bygone era. \nInspired by the open-ended games children invent when left to their own devices\, Two young performers explore the possibilities of play away from screens and digital distractions. One with sticks and the other with clay\, together they discover different sizes\, colours\, textures and shapes as they create\, connect\, and find their own rhythm along the way. \nPlease Note: Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver to attend this event. \nIn collaboration with:\n \nAbout Toystoy Theatre\nToystoy Theatre is a Kochi-based company creating imaginative experiences for children. They offer live performances\, storytelling sessions and interactive workshops fusing theatre\, music and movement. Their foundational belief is that early audiences deserve thoughtful\, experimental art crafted with playfulness\, curiosity\, and room to explore. \nAround the World in 50 Sundays is a journey that begins\, not with a ticket\, but with opening a book. In a city like Bangalore where families are always in motion\, the BIC Library hopes to offer stillness and a quiet\, welcoming space for both parents and children where reading becomes a shared experience. Every Sunday\, we open our doors to invite you into a library that listens; building a rhythm of return\, a habit of joy and a new community bound not just by books\, but by the weekly ritual of reading together.  \nWe welcome your ideas and input. If you have suggestions for children’s events or activities that align with this vision\, we’d love to hear from you.
